Established in the U.S. and introduced in Europe in 2013, Firefly has experienced rapid growth and acclaim internationally for leisure and holiday rentals. It has now expanded its presence in 50 locations in seven countries.
Throughout 2013 and 2014 locations were opened in Portugal, Poland, the Balearic Islands, Croatia, Malta, Iceland and Slovenia followed by branches across North America. Firefly was also launched in the Middle East in May 2014.
The Al-Futtaim Automotive group launched the Firefly brand on 11th May 2014 in the UAE, with the first location on Airport Road, Umm Ramool in Dubai. It is anticipated that additional UAE locations will follow over the next few months, to support the growth of the business.
